What Twain Harte Lots Need
- Pine needle cleanup. Needles pile up against the house and deck all year. They sit in the first five feet, and they are the first thing embers light.
- Low branch and brush removal. Brush and low branches under big trees give fire a ladder to climb into the treetops. We cut that ladder down.
- Brush thinning. Manzanita and small young trees crowd in fast between cabins.
- Steep lot work. Half of Twain Harte is on a slope. Steep ground is our normal.
